Fulfab bifold doors are designed as
fully-integrated components of our line of hangar buildings. These doors,
some of which have been in service for over 40 years, are manufactured
in clear dimensions of 42' x 12', 44' x 14', and 48' x 14' and furnished
on nine of our standard hangar models.

Safety
Our door is powered by a 1 HP motor and worm gear reducer assembly, which
drives a single cable drum. This assembly is mounted safely overhead and
also utilizes dual chains and sprockets providing redundant protection
to occupants and their aircraft. |

Drum
Switch Control
A constant-pressure drum switch is furnished with each door requiring
the user to remain at the switch while the door is operating. In combination
with automatic up and down limit switches, the drum switch protects against
over-travel and potential damage to the door. |
Side Locks & Cane Bolts
Cable controlled side locks and cane bolts release automatically as the
user remains at the drum switch location. This feature vastly reduces
the potential for damage present in manually locked systems. |

Access Doors
Each bifold includes a 3' wide, pre-hung personnel door equipped with
spring-loaded hinges and an individually and master-keyed, commercial
grade lockset.

Maintenance & Service
Routine maintenance and trouble-shooting of our bifold doors is made
simple by referring to our Bifold Door Maintenance Manual. Our field
personnel are also available to meet with you on-site.
